Using Lego's WeDo robotics kits our campers have been exploring basic robotics. Here they were challenged to collaborate by utilizing their robots together to pull a package on a trailer.

A monster mega bot ready for any terrain!
For FTC 10917's rookie year they built the PushBot. Now they've challenged themselves to use an older build model for the basic chassis but modifying it to accommodate the newer android control platform. Next week they will be fashioning some attachments from standard builds yet, again, modifying them to fit alongside the new electronics.
For six weeks we have had Saturday Bootcamp sessions. Students have been working on building simple machines, honing their programming skills, and learning new techniques for building robots.
